Add a splash of refinement to your home/office with our Papier-Mâché Ripples Shadow Box Wall Décor. The amount of time and technique required to make this décor was tremendous. The process starts with the selection of tree barks. The size, type, and color matters. Our in-house craftsmen bathed the bark inside spring water, boiled it for 48 hours, then rinse it under running water to clear out all the impurities. Finally, all “papers” were shaped by hand to resemble a calm water surface interrupted by a sudden rainfall. With hours of drying in the sun to evaporate all the moisture, this 2-layered papier-mâché was then dyed in grey and sealed inside a sturdy pine wood shadow box.
